Leestensch Hof
In “West Friesian” Wervershoof, on the banks of “Het Egboetswater”, on 7 hectares, we breed Friesian and Haflinger horses.
On stud the original Tyrolean Haflinger stallions Nordsee and Whetu (see also www.haflingerhorses.eu) are “serving”our own and other mares.
Being a certified Artificial Insemination station, we mares can also be mated with other stallions.For Mares spacious stables and meadows are available.
Besides enjoying the beauty and friendly character of our horses, we also train them and use them both as riding and driving horses.
The horses we breed are broken and trained before being sold at the age of three.We are always happy to invite horse friends to our stables to introduce them to the breeds we love so much.
Our farm is also “care farm”. For all kind of clients we provide day care. Besides this we are specialized in “therapeutical riding”.
Trained mares and geldings are for sale throughout the year.
